Global Factor is currently recruiting for Southeast Asia and IFI Business Developer to join our Public Policy Development Division.

Mission

Global Factor is in search of a Business Development Manager for the Southeast Asia, who is eager to oversee projects backed by major International Financial Institutions (IFIs). This position provides the chance to engage in numerous prominent opportunities around the globe in critical areas like decarbonization, climate change, ESG, renewable energy, and green financing. You will be part of a team solely focused on growing international business and will have the opportunity to collaborate with Global Factor's team and all operational units related to this area within the organization. Travel within the designated region is expected.

What value will you bring to the team? 🌟

• Collaborate effectively with Global Factor’s team to keep track of ongoing projects in Southeast Asia, gaining insight into their focus areas related to climate change, climate finance, and energy.
• Understand the procedures of Development Finance Institutions (DFIs) regarding the entire tendering process, from initial stages to contract awards, and assist in meeting their requirements.
• Assess, together with the Technical Units, the opportunities introduced by International Financial Institutions (IFIs).
• Assist and coordinate the preparation of Expressions of Interest and proposals in response to both open and restricted tenders issued by DFIs, lenders, and investors.
• Develop and strengthen a local or regional network, engaging with suitable partners, local experts, and subcontractors to create the most effective partnerships for each project.
• Assit Global Factor in its marketing and business efforts with prospective partners who have complementary skills or prior experience in the field.
• Assist Global Factor in its marketing and business activities with DFIs.

Must-haves for this role 🔑

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering General
• Master’s degree in business administration/economics
• An Engineering or Economic background or equivalent degree qualification is essential.
• Previous experience (>5 years) working for a Consultancy and in IFIs funded proposals/projects is required.
• Previous experience in the business development is required.
• Previous interaction and experience with IFIs active in the region – WB/EBRD/ADB in particular - is required
• Ability to liaise with stakeholders at any level
• Good attitude at working within multicultural/multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent level of written and spoken English is essential
